Kaizen Signs Agricultural UAV Agreement with Uzbekistan

Kaizen Aerospace, a heavy-lift autonomous aerial systems company, has signed a Memorandum of Cooperation with Uzbekistan’s Ministry of Agriculture and the State Scientific-Design Institute “O’zdavyerloyiha.” The agreement establishes a framework for deploying UAV technologies across Uzbekistan’s agricultural sector.

The memorandum targets evaluation of drone operations across up to 300,000 hectares of intensively cultivated cotton fields. That scale represents a significant potential deployment for agricultural UAVs in Central Asia. The framework covers professional training, joint scientific research, methodology development, and UAV infrastructure buildout.

Under the framework, Kaizen Aerospace contributes drone technology expertise and operational know-how. The Uzbek partners — the Ministry of Agriculture and O’zdavyerloyiha — provide local servicing infrastructure and agricultural inputs.

Kaizen Aerospace builds on the Powerus autonomous architecture, integrating shared autonomy software, power systems, and scalable manufacturing into high-payload platforms. The company focuses on industrial, defense, and critical infrastructure missions.

The Memorandum of Cooperation carries no financial commitments or legally binding obligations for either party. It serves as a foundation for further discussions and potential definitive agreements. Both parties have expressed a shared interest in leveraging UAV technologies to improve agricultural efficiency, productivity, and sustainable development in Uzbekistan.
