The company said it is planning to invest ?10m over five years in its UK subsidiary in Swindon, which will be manufacturing unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) for the armed forces and European allies.
Will Stone MP for Swindon North, said: "With five companies confirmed and more in the pipeline, it is undeniable that Swindon is now a major player in drone manufacturing."
The company, which has its headquarters in Los Angeles as well as offices in Washington DC and Kiyv in Ukraine, said it is "investing in sovereign British capability, workforce development, and national security".
Published3 days agoStone, who used to be in the military himself, said it was "outstanding" to have the company join the "growing number of UAV manufacturing companies" in Swindon.
"I am proud to be supporting them as they expand into the UK with their leading capabilities that I believe are crucial for supporting the next generation of warfare and supporting jobs here in Swindon," he said.
